They can ride a fine line between funny, scary and just slap nasty, and get spooked along the way. Take our costume quiz to keep your costume from being too (candy) corny.

b. Sleep, or send out a mass text (“Who’s down to hang?”).
c. Get a head start on studying or pick up an extra shift at work.
d. Hit the court for a quick pick-up game.
What kind of woman grabs your attention?
a. The slightly mysterious one with glasses and ponytail.
b. The social butterfly involved in nearly every organization.
c. Women? Don’t know many.
d. The one who tears up the Stairmaster. Work those buns!
What do you love about Halloween?
a. Scaring random people.
b. Party-hopping all night.
c. People-watching.
d. Seeing the ladies dressed as sexy [fill in the blank].
How would you describe your personal style?
a. Whatever is clean—preferably my lucky Dungeons & Dragons T-shirt.
b. Classic—polos, khakis, tennis shoes. For a night out, a crisp button-down with Topsiders.
c. Out of the ordinary—funny T-shirts, hats and accessories. I stay ahead of the curve.
d. Comfortable and breathable—gym shorts and a T-shirt (no sleeves), sneakers and a hat.
