This weekend (2/19-2/21) was an awesome one for Gator sports. With wins in gymnastics, softball basketball and baseball, Gator athletes are really feeling how great it is to be a Florida Gator.

Gator Gymnastics
The No. 4 Florida Gators and No. 7 Georgia gymnastics teams met in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center for a dual meet Friday. University of Florida gymnastics team (4-2, 3-1 SEC) returns home to host rival, and five-time defending NCAA champion, No. 7 Georgia (3-3, 2-2 SEC). The last time Florida and Georgia met in a dual meet at home, the slightest of margins possible, just 0.025, gave the win to Georgia. Friday the point margin was only a tenth of a point advantage for Florida Gymnasts 197.25-197.15 for the win. Dickerson said the Gators fed off the crowd of 6,421 to give UF the edge.

Women’s Basketball
The Florida Gators closed out the game at 64-57 against No. 20 Georgia in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Sunday night. To say this was a tremendous win is an understatement, said Florida Head Coach Amanda Butler.
Gator Baseball

Under the direction of third-year head coach Kevin O'Sullivan, UF returns 20 letter winners from last season's squad.
