It sounds like a lot of fun—listen to music, sip a cocktail, and analyze some of the most beautiful people you’ve seen in real life. But it’s a hard job, and last month, our editor was up for the challenge.
No, this wasn’t America’s Next Top Model. It wasn’t even the recent Miss University of Florida pageant. This was the audition for this year’s Gainesville Fashion Week, and INsite was there to recruit finalists for our most popular cover of the year—the annual Cover Model Contest.
The first year, student Rachel Calderon won a photoshoot at the UF baseball diamond. Last year, first-time model Abigail Dixon won, fittingly, a supermodel-themed photoshoot. We were so impressed with the models at the Gainesville Fashion Week casting call this year, that we chose not 3, not 5, but 10 incredibly talented and attractive models.
And this is where you come in. Since we can’t do all the heavy lifting alone, we are letting you vote on who you think should appear on the cover of INsite.
Vote for your favorite (as many times as you want!), and look for the winner on the cover of our next issue. Note: If you’re hoping to meet a model, head to Paynes Prairie or 101 Cantina.
Click on any of the models to read more about them, or click here to vote.
